Really looking forward to Waltham Mills Open Studios this coming weekend. There will be more than 90 artists in four locations: painting, sculpture, jewelry, fabric arts, plus steampunk, music, food and a great sense of community. I’ll be showing recent work from my trip to Rajasthan in northern India. These pieces recall traditional Rajasthani miniature paintings, while reflecting on my glimpses of contemporary rural Indian life in markets and along roadsides. As well as my Indian work, I will also be sharing new monotypes inspired by the New England coast, from Martha’s Vineyard to Acadia.
